Congrats to Paul and Irene! Paul won two (!) awards at the annual meeting of the International Society for Biofabrication: the ISBF New Investigator Award and the WFIRM Young Investigator Award. Irene was awarded the ISBF Best Oral Presentation for her research in collaboration between the Gottardi Lab and the Biofabrication Group at the Centro Piaggio of the University of Pisa !

More celebrations in lab for securing a competitive Foerderer Award in collaboration with Dr. Michael Silverman on A Novel Preventative Treatment for Pediatric Subglottic Stenosis, Matthew’s project, and for collaborating with Dr. Karen Zur on her Foerderer Award on Myofibroblast-targeting microparticles to treat pediatric vocal fold scarring, Ryan’s project.
